What producers and broadcasters say about working with us

fameova

Comments from people who have used a fameova studio, camera system or crew, written in their own words and covering the build, the rehearsals and the live days.

What clients say

  • The studio drawings were clear enough for our own engineers to follow, and the handover came with a written test plan. On our first live news bulletin nobody in the gallery had to ask where a cable went.

Rachel WhitlockHead of Production, regional news channel
  • Priya reworked our interview set so guests no longer squint or sweat under the lamps. The background is clean, skin tones hold steady on camera, and the crew stopped fighting the exposure every morning.

Martin ElleryExecutive Producer, weekly current affairs show
  • We hired a crew for a season of panel shows. They arrived early, checked intercom and talkback before the audience came in, and handled a late guest change without anyone in the room noticing.

    Sophie GrangerEvents Manager, conference venue
  • Our hall echoed badly before treatment. After the acoustic panels and a new microphone setup, presenters could speak naturally and the mix needed far less correction in the gallery.

Who we work for

The audiences our studio work is built around

fameova works with people who need live television to run calmly. Some are building a studio from an empty room, others are upgrading a gallery or adding crew for a season. The groups below describe the needs we meet most often.

  • Regional news producers

Need dependable studio design, camera positions and gallery workflows so daily bulletins start on time and the same set works for several programme formats.

  • Interview and talk programmes

Look for flattering lighting, clean backgrounds and quiet rooms, with microphones and talkback arranged so conversation stays natural on camera.

  • Venues hosting live events

Want a temporary or permanent setup for panel shows and broadcasts, with technical crews who work around audiences, schedules and the building itself.

  • Universities and training centres

Need a teaching studio that behaves like a professional one, with documented signal flow, treated acoustics and camera systems students can learn on.

  • Corporate communications teams

Run in-house broadcasts and need a compact studio, reliable vision mixing and lighting that looks consistent from one session to the next.

  • Independent production companies

Hire studio capability by the day or season and need crews, cameras and gallery systems tested together before the first recording.

How we work

The habits behind the feedback you read above

Comments like these tend to come from the same few working habits. They are not clever techniques, just routines we keep on every project, whether it is a full fit-out or a single day of crew support.

Written test plans

Daniel writes a test plan for every build and we check the studio against it before handover. Signal paths, intercom, tally, graphics and playout are tested together, not one by one. If something fails, it is fixed and tested again, and the plan stays with you afterwards so your own engineers can repeat the checks whenever equipment changes.

Rehearsal before live

We ask for at least one full rehearsal with presenters, guests and the gallery team in place. Problems tend to show up when people move around the set, not when the room is empty. Camera positions, lighting and sound are adjusted while real people are standing in them, so the first live show is not the first real test.

Plain communication

Quotations, drawings and handover notes are written in plain language, with what is included and what is not stated clearly. We explain why a layout or a piece of equipment is suggested and what the alternatives would change. Producers and engineers should always know what is happening on site and what the next step is.
